(Spencer)– An Everly man has been charged with sexual abuse as the result of a search warrant that was executed earlier this week.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the search was conducted at about 8:00 p.m. Monday at an apartment on East Third Street in Everly as the result of an investigation into a report that a juvenile under 14 years of age had been sexually abused at the residence.
Authorities say quantities of marijuana, computers and several pieces of forensic evidence were seized.
The occupants of the residence, 42-year-old Charles “Jesse” Buccheri and 33-year-old Natalie “Ashley” Federspiel were arrested following the search.
Buccheri was charged with sexual abuse in the second degree; child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at 40,775-dollars.
Federspiel was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at 325-dollars.
Authorities say their investigation continues and more arrests are likely.
