Arnolds Park Announces Entertainment Line-up For First Part Of Season

(Arnolds Park)– The entertainment line-up for the first part of the upcoming season at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park has been released.

Park Manager Jim Frost says they’ve incorporated some new concepts in the line-up this year with assistance from the Iowa Rock and Roll Music Association, which will present “IRRMA Rocks The Roof” with its past inductees and other bands, Thursday from June 17th through August 19th in the Roof Garden. Booked so far are “Big Daddy Cade and Dave Rowley”, June 17th; “Richie Lee” and “BB and the Bullfrogs”, June 24th; “Terry Klein Salutes the King” July 1st; and “The Fabulous Traidmarx”, July 8th.

Friday evenings after the final Queen Two cruise of the day there will be music with food and beverage service on the boat and pier.

And there will be a concert every Saturday evening on the Green Space stage. The schedule includes Damon Dotson and his band May 22nd; “Hairball” May 29th; “Tequila Sunrise–A Tribute To The Eagles” June 5th; “The Whitesidewalls” June 12th; “Monkey’s Uncle” June 19th; Chubby Carrier will headline the Zydeco and Blues Festival June 26th; “Head East” July 3rd and “Kory And The Fireflies” with “Modify” July 4th.

Admission to the Green Space, Roof Garden and Queen Two entertainment is free.

Frost says several paid Green Space concerts and additional free shows are being negotiated and will be announced in May.
