(Spencer)– A five-month investigation into illegal drug activity in Spencer has led to one arrest.
The investigation by the Spencer Police Department, the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement led the Clay County Magistrate to issue two arrest warrants for 43-year-old Douglas Duane Pratt of Spencer on Friday.
Pratt has since been taken into custody and charged with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, each a class “C” felony.
Pratt is in the Clay county jail on bond of 130-thousand dollars.
The investigation is continuing and authorities say more arrests are likely.
