November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– A represenative of U-S Senator Tom Harkin’s office will hold a town meeting in Spencer later this week.

Maureen Wilson, Harkin’s Regional Director, will hold a town meeting on disability issues at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the board of supervisors room at the Clay County Administration Building at 300 West Fourth Street in Spencer.

Harkin was one of the main authors of the Americans With Disabilities Act and is involved in efforts to pass the Medicaid Community Attendant Services and Supports Act and the Money Follows the Person Act.
