(Spirit Lake)– A one-vehicle accident shortly after noon today (Tues.) sent a Spirit Lake woman to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 58-year-old JoAnne Stockdale lost control of a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe when she missed a curve while travelling eastbound on 155th Street near Highway nine west of Spirit Lake. The vehicle left the road and rolled over in the east ditch.
Stockdale was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with minor injuries.
20-thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the Tahoe she was driving.
The mishap took place around 12:05 p.m.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Spirit Lake Police Department.
Authorities say charges are pending.
