(Okoboji)– A Lakes Area marina has made substantial contributions to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Lakes Patrol and the Iowa Great Lakes Water Safety Council.
Parks Marina of Okoboji says it will supply the Lakes Patrol this summer with a 23-foot Scout Center Counsel powered by a 225 horse power Yamaha four-stroke engine.
The marina has also donated a pair of night vision goggles to the Iowa Great Lakes Water Safety Council, and has donated toward the purchase of the new Lakes Area Fire Boat.
