(Sibley)– Charges have been filed against a Sibley man after a search of his home by law enforcement officers turned up a meth lab.
33-year-old Travis Lyne Ballard of Sibley was arrested and charged with possession and transportation of anhydrous ammonia…a serious misdemeanor; possession with intent to deliver five grams of methamphetamine…a class “B” felony; prohibited acts…an aggravated misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor; and no drug tax stamp…a class “D” felony.
Ballard was booked into the Osceola county jail.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant was executed Thursday at Ballard’s residence at 908 7th Street in Sibley.
Authorities say additional charges are pending against Ballard.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the O’Brien, Lyon, and Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Offices and the Spencer Police Department; the Sibley Fire Department and Sibley Ambulance.
Assistance was also received from the Worthington, Mn. Shopko and Wal-Mart Loss and Prevention Managers.
