(Okoboji)– A traffic stop Friday near the AmericInn of Okoboji has resulted in the arrest of a Spencer man on drug charges.
23-year-old Jason Benton Archer of Spencer was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited acts.
Archer was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Authorities say a search of the 1994 Chevrolet Blazer Archer was driving resulted in the discovery of about 25 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Okoboji Police Department, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Arnolds Park Police Department’s Canine Unit.
