Two People Injured In Jackson County Crash

(Jackson, Mn.)– Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday in northern Jackson county.

The Sheriff’s Office says vehicles driven by 35-year-old Maria Vosberg of Westbrook and 19-year-old Eric Johnson of Mankato collided on South Shore Drive north of County Road 36.

Vosberg and an unidentified passenger in the vehicle she was driving were taken by ambulance to the Windom hospital. There was no word on the extent of their injuries.

Heavy damage was reported to both vehicles.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Windom Fire Department and the Windom Ambulance.

The mishap took place around 12:46 p.m. Saturday.
