(Spirit Lake)– Power will be turned off for a while Wednesday morning in a portion of Spirit Lake.
Scott Trezinski of Alliant Energy tells KUOO news power will be turned off around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday (06/02) to several blocks in the area of 23rd Street between Hill and Keokuk Avenues.
Trezinski says the planned outage is in conjunction with the Hill Avenue South Project. He says they’ll be transferring load to a new underground cable.
The power outage is expected to last about an hour and-a-half.
