Dickinson Supervisors Approve War Eagle Bid

November 22, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– Efforts to reconstruct a highly travelled road in the Triboji Beach area are a step closer to reality.

The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday awarded a bid on the grading portion of the War Eagle Boulevard project to Beck Excavating of Spirit Lake for 80,257-dollars. The bid came in over the engineer’s estimate of 75,639-dollars.

County Engineer Dan Eckert says work on the project should start around mid-July.

Eckert says residents in the Triboji area will find accessing Highway nine a little more difficult as it’s likely Roosevelt Avenue will also be torn up at the same time for a sanitary sewer project.
