Two People Injured In SW Mn. Accident

(Worthington, Mn.)– Two people were injured in a two-vehicle mishap Sunday on Highway 60 in Brewster.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 1996 Buick driven by 90-year-old Margaret Ruesch of Worthington and an International semi tractor/trailer driven by 60-year-old Merwin Lawrence of Sioux Falls collided at an intersection.

Both Ruesch and Lawrence were taken by ambulance to the Worthington Hospital where they were treated for bumps and bruises.

The Buick driven by Ruesch was a total loss; extensive damage was reported to the semi tractor/trailer driven by Lawrence.

The mishap took place shortly before Noon.
