(Spencer)– The Spencer Hospital board of trustees have selected Doug Doorn as the hospital’s interim Chief Executive Officer.
John Allen resigned from the position in June to accept a position as CEO and President of a hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. His last day on the job in Spencer will be July 16th.
Gary VanHofwegen, Chairman of the Spencer Hospital board of trustees, says they’re still early in the process of selecting a new CEO. He says they’ve been working with a consultant since early June.
Van Hofwegen says the board expects to name a new CEO in the next 30 to 60 days.
John Allen served as President and CEO of Spencer Hospital since October of 1998.
