(Spencer)– Work on the downtown rennovation project in Spencer will resume this coming Monday, July 5th. That word from Tom Nelson, a member of Spencer’s Streetscape Committee.
Nelson says the contractor, Barry DeLoss Construction, will begin work on the west side of Grand Avenue at that time. Work will start on the north side of East Fourth Street next to White Drug.
Nelson says the “no-left turn” rules on Grand Avenue will go back into effect on Tuesday, July 6th.
Nelson says for the most part, Deloss will continue working on the west side of Grand Avenue until the project is completed.
The Spencer Streetscape Committee meets every Friday at Noon at the Pizza Ranch to discuss the downtown project. The meetings are open to the public.
