Routine Arrest Turns Out Not So Routine For Spencer Police

November 22, 2014

(Spencer)– Police officers who picked up a Spencer man over the weekend on an outstanding arrest warrant got more than they barained for during the arrest.

Spencer police arrested 43-year-old Jodey Stinehart of Spencer just after 9:00 p.m. Friday on an outstanding Clay county warrant for failure to serve a sentence. As officers were arresting Stinehart, they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on him.
