(Okoboji)– The city of Okoboji is seeking another injunction against businessman Butch Parks.
This one would prohibit Parks from operating a bar out of the former O’Farrell Sisters restaurant, which he recently purchased.
The city council June 14th denied Parks a Class C Liquor license for the premise, citing zoning laws. Parks appealed the denial to the state, resulting in the city filing it’s latest request for an injunction against Parks.
The latest injunction request involving the former O’Farrell Sisters location was filed on July 1st…the same day a judge ruled against the city in it’s request for an injunction against Parks that would have prohibited him from operating a bar at the former Okoboji Boats property.
