Cottonwood County Mishap Injures Two People

(Heron Lake, Mn.)– A three-vehicle mishap Wednesday in Cottonwood county sent three people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by 84-year-old Thomas Clark of Dundee, 39-year-old Kristine Hopper of Mountain Lake and 56-year-old Colleen Freking of Heron Lake collided on Highway 60 west of Heron Lake.

Hopper and a passenger in the vehicle she was driving, 28-year-old Micah Hopper of Mountain Lake, were taken to the Windom Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

No other injuries were reported.

One of the vehicles, a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Kristine Hopper, was totaled.

The mishap took place around 4:30 p.m.
