November 22, 2014

(Lake Park)– A collision involving a car and a truck early Wednesday afternoon near Lake Park sent two men to the hospital.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Joshua Brueggeman of Lake Park was southbound on 140th Avenue and was pulling onto Highway Nine when he collided with an eastbound truck driven by 57-year-old Clarence Reiter of Spirit Lake.

Both Brueggeman and Reiter were taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with unknown injuries.

Damage to a 2000 Chrysler driven by Brueggeman was estimated at 10-thousand dollars. A 2001 truck driven by Reiter and owned by Mediacom sustained an estimated 25-thousand dollars in damage.
