(Spencer)– An on-going sex abuse investigation in Spencer has lead to another arrest.
The investigation by Spencer Police began in early August when they were alerted to the sexual assault of a five-year-old boy allegedly by 16-year-old Benjamin Webster of Spencer.
Now, the investigation has resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Bobby Beckman of Spencer. Beckman is accused of sexually assaulting Webster on atleast two occasions over the last two years.
Beckman has been charged with two counts of third degree sexual assalt, each a class “C” felony.
He was placed in the Clay county jail on a 26-thousand dollar bond.
