(Spencer)– A traffic stop has landed a Spencer man in jail on multiple narcotics violations.
A Clay county deputy pulled over a vehicle Wednesday in the 1500 block of Highway Boulevard for a traffic violation. The driver, 31-year-old Robert Morfitt, was found to be driving with a suspended license.
A search of the vehicle turned up quantities of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Morfitt was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license.
Morfitt was booked into the Clay county jail.
Authorities say their investigation is ongoing.
