(Orleans)– The main entrance of the Spirit Lake Fish Hatchery in Orleans will be closed next week.
Hatchery Manager Donna Muhm says crews will be doing some remodeling to make room for new aquariums that will be installed in the lobby.
Muhm says the new aquariums will be larger than existing ones, which haven’t been working for some time now.
Muhm says they’re looking forward to once again displaying live fish.
She says the project is expected to take about a week to complete. In the meantime, Muhm says those with business to conduct will be asked to use the hatchery’s rear entrance.
