(Milford)– A battle between the cities of Milford and West Okoboji over the Ridgeview Estates Subdivision continues, even though the City Development Board voted last week to approve annexing the area into the city of West Okoboji.
Residents of the subdivision had requested they be voluntarily annexed into West Okoboji, siting a dispute with Milford over water service.
The Milford city council Monday voted to appeal the City Development Board’s action to district court.
The City Development Board approved the annexation into West Okoboji after getting a legal opinion from the Attorney General’s Office.
