(Spirit Lake)– Motorists who commonly travel on 19th Street in Spirit Lake may soon want to find an alternate route.
Officials say the volume of traffic on that street, especially between Hill and Jackson Avenues, is going to increase due to the ongoing construction of the new Dickinson county courthouse. They say there will be a considerable increase in truck traffic on the already narrow street, so motorists will need to be on the lookout and drive with extra care.
Officials say your best bet is to avoid that area altogether if you can.
