(Ruthven)– A Havelock man is recovering from injuries after he was struck by a vehicle earlier this week near Ruthven…and authorities are looking for the driver.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Dean Shimon of Havelock was walking his dog at about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday near him home on Lost Island Lake on 320th Street when he was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
Shimon was taken by ambulance to the Palo Alto County Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
