(Spencer)– The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into the on-line activities of the Clay County Assessor.
Larry Roseboom of Spencer is accused of having inappropriate internet discussions with a teenage male.
Clay County Sheriff Randy Krukow says he cannot comment on specifics of the case, only to say that his department is assisting the D-C-I with their investigation.
Krukow added his department also assisted with the seizure of a laptop computer from the Assessor’s Office which is housed in the Clay County Administration Building.
Krukow added that NO charges have been filed in the case at this time.
