(Emmetsburg)– Apparently even political yard signs aren’t off limits to thieves.
According to Emmetsburg police, over the last few days 13 “re-elect Russ Jergens for Sheriff” signs have been stolen from various locations in Palo Alto county. The signs are worth about 50-dollars.
Jergens is being challenged in the race for Sheriff by Emmetsburg resident Dennis Goeders. Goeders says a few of his signs are missing as well.
Anyone with information into any of the thefts is asked to contact Emmetsburg police at 852-2424.
