(Arnolds Park)– Looking to lose a few inches around the waist? An Arnolds Park man can tell you what it’s like to lose three hundred pounds. Larry Peterson will do just that at free seminars he’ll be putting on October 21st at the pavilion of the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
Peterson says his extreme obesity nearly cost him his life. He says it did cost him his quality of life for awhile, and after getting a rude awakening from doctors and friends, he decided several years ago it was time to do something about it.
He says a large part of his obesity problem was psychological in nature. After going through an extensive hospitalization for a leg that had split open due to his extreme weight, and after going through counseling sessions, Peterson said he finally started making significant progress at dropping the pounds. He says he’ll share his philosophy for losing weight and keeping it off at two free seminars at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. October 21st at the pavilion at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park. Peterson says he was able to line up a number of sponsors so as to keep the seminars free. He says that was an important goal as he wants as many people as possible to hear what he has to say. He’s also urging family members of those looking to lose weight to attend as well, saying support of family members plays a very important role in the process.
Pre-registration isn’t necessary.
