(Emmetsburg)– Palo Alto county authorities say they’ve found remnants of a methamphetamine lab in a rural area.
Sheriff Dennis Goeders says his office received a report Wednesday from a conservation officer about some meth lab materials he found in the area of 330th Street and 415th Avenue. Goeders says an investigation got underway and the area was secured. The State Fire Marshall was called to assist in the disposal of the hazardous items.
Goeders says some of the items were taken from the scene for processing, and he says an investigation continues.
