(Spirit Lake)– Voters in many precincts in Dickinson county will find a race on the ballot Tuesday many aren’t aware of.
It’s for the Board of Trustees of the Iowa Great Lakes Sanitary Sewer District. Three people are running for two open seats. Jerry Roskammer, Al Klein and Brian Craig are running.
Voters will also decide who will fill seats on the Board of Trustees for Lakes Regional Healthcare; the Soil and Water Conservation District; and the Dickinson County Ag Extension Council. None of those seats are contested, though.
In Emmet county a race that’s had little attention is for Ag Extension Council. Six people are running for four open seats. They are Rick Rosburg, Jim Boyer, David Enerson, Amy Lowe, Todd Glasnapp and Laurie Gage.
