(Lake Park)– A special honor for the city of Lake Park. It’s one of five Iowa communities to receive an “All-Star Community Award” through the Iowa League of Cities.
Lake Park was recognized for its recently completed Arts and Recreation Complex consisting of a new seven through 12th grade school, shared public/school library, community center, fine arts auditorium, wellness center and an athletic complex.
The awards are presented in recognition of betterment projects that have enhanced residents’ quality of life.
Ida Grove was also named a 2004 “All Star Community”.
