(Peplow, Ill.)– A Spencer man was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Illinois Wednesday.
The Kane County, Illinois Sheriff’s Office says 86-year-old Wilbur Freeburg of Spencer lost control of a minivan that crossed the center line of state highway 64 and collided with an oncoming truck.
Freeburg was pronounced dead a short time after the mishap. The driver of the truck wasn’t injured.
The mishap took place around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday west of Peplow, Illinois.
