(Milford)– Charges have been filed against an Oelwein man in connection with a foot pursuit Saturday night in Milford.
Milford police say it all started around 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of “L” Avenue when an officer noticed two suspicious subjects. The two fled on foot when the officer approached, leading authorities on a foot chase that went through several yards in a residential area. Officers were able to track down one of the subjects about 15 minutes later in a garage on 13th Street about a block and-a-half west of the Catholic Church. 36-year-old Craig Lynn Hurst of Oelwein was arrested and charged with interference with official ats and criminal trespass.
Authorities say they were unable to track down the other subject.
Milford police say their investigation continues.
Milford police were assisted by the Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police Departments, Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa State Patrol.
