(Fairmont, Mn.)– Police in Fairmont are investigating a man’s death.
The body of 45-year-old Anthony Clawson of Sherburn was found in an alley behind an apartment building in downtown Fairmont Tuesday.
Police don’t know what caused Clawson’s death. Police Chief Greg Brolsma says it could have been an accident, but there are also suspicious circumstances. He didn’t elaborate.
Clawson was alive Monday evening, so he apparently died early Tuesday.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was called to investigate the scene. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy.
