(Des Moines)– House Speaker Chris Rants announced Thursday he’s appointed State Representative Mike May of Spirit Lake as Vice Chair of the House Natural Resources Committee and Vice Chair of the Education Appropriations Subcommittee.
In addition to his Vice Chairmanship, May will also serve on the Appropriations, Economic Growth and Commerce Committees.
The Iowa Legislature convenes January 10th.
