(Spirit Lake)– The Good Neighbor Fund of Spirit Lake and Okoboji has surpassed it’s goal for another year.
Chairman Curt Johnson tells KUOO news they’ve raised more than 71,300-dollars…meaning the 14 agencies that are benefitted by the Good Neighbor Fund should be able to get most of what they requested.
Johnson says the fund’s board of directors will meet next month at which time a final accounting will be done.
Johnson says the money will be doled out to the various organizations in early April.
He adds there’s still time to donate to the Good Neighbor Fund.
