(Terril)– Minor damage was reported Wednesday in a house fire west of Terril.
Terril Fire Chief Tim Mathews tells KUOO news firefighters were called to the Russ Miller residence at 2009 290th Avenue around 4:00 p.m. Mathews says a chimney overheated, starting a fire in a wall and floor.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish it. Mathews says fire damage was contained to that area, but some smoke and water damage was reported to the rest of the house.
No injuries were reported.
The Terril Fire Department was on the scene about an hour.
