Early Morning Search Results In Drug Charges Against Rural Milford Men

November 22, 2014

(Milford)– Drug charges have been filed against two rural Milford men as the result of a search warrant that was executed early this (Monday) morning.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Anthony Rahfaldt and 23-year-old Matthew Bierl were arrested as a result of the search that took place around 1:00 a.m. at Rahfaldt’s residence.

Rahfaldt was arrested on the scene and was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bierl was arrested in a vehicle at the corner of Broadway Avenue and Highway 71 in Arnolds Park. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Dickinson county jail.

Authorities say the warrant was executed to look for a possible meth lab.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Arnolds Park, Milford, Okoboji and Spencer Police Departments; the O’Brien and Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Offices; the State Fire Marshal’s Office; Milford Fire Department and Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance.
