(Spirit Lake)– Winter Games weekend wasn’t only busy for lakes area businesses and establishments, but it was also hectic for law enforcement.
Dickinson County Sheriff Greg Baloun says a total of 18 people were booked into jail Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
Baloun says most of the charges were for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Authorities responded to several fights and other disturbances over the weekend–most of them in Arnolds Park.
