(Spencer)– Spencer police are investigating a burglary at a local pharmacy.
It took place at Medicap Pharmacy at 829 North Grand Avenue in Spencer.
Police responded to an alarm call from the business around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. No one was at the store when officers arrived. Entry was gained by forcing open a west door.
A quantity of ephedrine was reported missing. Officers speculate the theft is related to the manufacture of methamphetamine. Ephedrine is a key ingredient in the drug.
