(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake man has been arrested on sexual abuse charges.
Police arrested 19-year-old Jared Hutchings today (Mon.) on four counts of sexual abuse in the third degree…each a class “C” felony…for alleged sexual misconduct with a minor younger than 15-years-old. The incidents allegedly took place between September 2004 and February of this year.
Hutchings was arrested at his residence and was booked into the Dickinson county jail on a 40-thousand dollar bond.
The Spirit Lake Police Department was assisted in its investigation by the Department of Human Services and Dickinson County Attorney’s Office.
