(Des Moines)– A bill that would increase boat registration fees was approved late Tuesday in the Iowa House on a vote of 69 to 30.
State Representative Mike May of Spirit Lake sponsored the measure. He says he was very pleased with the margin by which the measure passed. The bill now goes to the Senate, where State Senator David Johnson of Ocheyedan has indicated previously approval is likely.
