(Sheldon)– Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon has a new President.
The college’s board of trustees earlier this week voted to extend a contract to Dr. William Giddings as President effective July 1st. Giddings will be paid 103-thousand dollars with an annuity of 11,200-dollars.
Giddings is currently Vice Presient of Educational Services at Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska…a position he has held since 2004. Prior to that he was Campus President at Central Community College in Grand Island, Nebraska. He also has had educational experience at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.
Giddings succeeds Dr. Andrew Matonak who resigned as President at Northwest Iowa Community College effective April 15th to become President of Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York.
