O’Brien Co. Authorities Initiate Forfeitures In Drug Case

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– O’Brien county authorities today (Thurs.) filed forfeiture proceedings in a drug case involving Jay Clark Christensen, Junior and Amy Kokenge of Hartley.

Items to be forfeited include a 1997 Lincoln Mark Eight owned by Christensen and valued at four thousand dollars; and a residence at 610 Third Street in Hartley owned by both Christensen and Kokenge and valued at 20-thousand dollars.

O’Brien County Attorney Bruce Green says the car and residence were used to facilitate the sale of marijuana and methamphetamine from 1998 to 2004.

Green says the items have been forfeited to the state and will be sold according to administrative procedure.
