(Primghar)– Drug charges have been filed against two Primghar residents after a search of their home turned up a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Brett Carter and Monica Mortensen, both 21-years-old, were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were booked into the O’Brien county jail on bond of 2,275-dollars each. Following an appearance before a Magistrate Friday, bond for both was reduced to a thousand dollars cash or surety. They were released after posting that amount. The two are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Thursday of last week at the residence where Carter and Mortensen reside at 320 Third Street Northwest in Primghar.
