(Arnolds Park)– The next phase of a project to place electric lines underground in Arnolds Park is about to get underway.
City Administrator Ron Walker says this phase will include four areas of the city, including Linden Drive from near Tom’s Plumbing and Heating to Hinshaw Bridge and Mook Lane; Rohr Street east of Sawmill Bridge to Henderson Woods; Dam Road and Helms Drive; and Monument Drive, Zephyr Drive and Helms Street near the Abby Gardner Sharp Cabin.
Walker says Alliant Energy is anticipating a bid letting in June with work in some areas getting underway shortly after the Fourth of July. Completion is slated for this Fall. Walker says property owners will be notified in advance of the work actually getting started.
