(Spirit Lake)– The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College took their regular monthly meeting Tuesday to Spirit Lake.
Trustees approved the completion of the paperwork and gave the go-ahead to the sale of delivery of Certificates of Participation for the purchase of the Gateway North Mall in Spencer; they set June 21st as the date for a public hearing on a capital loan note proposal for the purchase of an airplane and to upgrade a computer network; and they voted to reject bids on the replacement of heating and ventilation units at the Emmetsburg campus. They decided to look at alternates in an effort to lower costs.
ILCC trustees also approved changeorders for the Criminal Justice Center at the Estherville campus and the Technology Education Center at the Emmetsburg campus. They also set June 21st as the date for a public hearing and to receive bids on plans to complete the exterior of the Algona campus.
