(Spirit Lake)– Plans are being finalized for this year’s MainSail-A-Bration June 4th and 5th in Spirit Lake.
MainSail Coordinator Blaine Andera says some new attractions are in the offing this year, including Extreme Interactive Inflatables. Ulimited use bands will be on sale for 10 dollars. Andera says there will be seven different inflatables coming intended for little kids on up to adults.
Following the parade Saturday, June 4th, there will be free watermelon and hotdog feed; free entertainment by Dawn’s Dance Connection dancers; BB and the Bullfrogs; Dancers Unlimited dancers; and Dave Rowley. There will also be a bake sale and ice cream social along with water fights in front of city hall.
Events Saturday, June 5th include the “Hooked on Scouting” free fishing derby at the Spirit Lake Fish Hatchery and the “Life on the Farm Festival” at Kenue Park.
Buttons for the button drawing are already on sale at several Spirit Lake businesses.
