(Lake Park)– Numerous charges have beend filed against a Lake Park couple after a search of their home late last week turned up marijuana and other illegal items.
41-year-old Mark Peterson and 40-year-old Tamara Peterson of Lake Park were both charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, a drug tax stamp violation, child endangerment, gatherings where drugs are used and prohibited acts. They were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
Lake Park police say the charges stem from a search warrant that was executed around 12:30 a.m. Friday at 606 North Market Street in Lake Park. Police say they found a quantity of processed marijuana, an active marijuana growing operation, drug paraphernalia, surveillance equipment and other electronic devices.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
Lake Park police were assisted by the Milford Police Department and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
