(Washington, D.C.)– A Milford native and Okoboji High School graduate is spending his summer in Washington, D.C.
Dan Stevens is working this summer as an intern for U-S Senator Tom Harkin. His duties include distributing daily correspondence, assisting in giving tours of the capitol building, and aiding staff in researching various legislative issues, including civil rights.
Dan is the son of Greg and Laura Stevens of Milford.
This fall he will be in his second year studying Political Science and Economics at Middlebury College after transferring from Iowa State University. He is a member of Middlebury College Debate, was an intern with the Howard Dean campaign and was a secretary in the Iowa House of Representatives in 2004.
