Osceola County Searches Result In Drug Charges Against 5 Men

(Sibley)– Authorities in Osceola county say they’ve made several drug-related arrests in connection with search warrants that were executed Saturday in Sibley.

The first was on a residence at 514 Seventh Street in Sibley. Authorities say three men who were in the residence were arrested.

22-year-old Aaron Van Kley and 23-year-old Thomas Van Kley…both of Sibley…were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.

35-year-old Anthony Rahfaldt of Arnolds Park was also arrested. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor; failure to have a drug tax stamp…a class “D” felony; and possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine with intent to deliver…a class “B” felony.

All three were booked into the Osceola county jail.

A subsequent search warrant was executed on a residence at 713 Ninth Street in Sibley. Two men were arrested at that residence and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. 23-year-old Jeremiah Schroder of Sibley and 23-year-old Jeff Monier of Brandon, South Dakota were arrested and booked into the Osceola county jail.

Authorities say their investigation continues and more charges are pending.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office Entry Team assisted the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in executing the searches.
